BCTC Welcomes Kenya Scholars

LEXINGTON, KY (August 27, 2008) –Bluegrass Community & Technical College (BCTC) is proud to announce that two distinguished visiting scholars from Maseno University (MU), Kenya, have joined the faculty at BCTC Cooper Campus for the fall 2008 semester. Professors Phillip Owuor and John Agure will bring their respective expertise to BCTC’s mathematics and chemistry departments.

Professor Owuor, Director of the School of Graduate Studies at Maseno University, will be teaching Chemistry. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, Owuor received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry in 1980.
