The summer I application deadline was extended until May 2, 2008. We are no longer accepting applications for the summer I term.
We are continuing to accept applications for the Summer II and Fall 2008 terms! The application deadlines are May 23, 2008 (for summer II) and August 1, 2008 (for fall). If you wish to apply to Bluegrass, you will need to either download the PDF application, or submit an application online. The online application is for the fall 2008 term only.
Along with submitting your application, we will require additional documents based on your "admit type" to complete your application. You will need to submit all required documents when you turn in your application. Please click on the link(s) to the left for the admit type that best describes you as a student.
You can drop off the completed form to the Office of Admissions, 470 Cooper Drive, 200 Oswald Building, Lexington, KY 40506, or the One-Stop, 164 Opportunity Way, Building C, Lexington, KY 40511, or one of our extended campuses in Georgetown, Danville, Lawrenceburg, or Winchester.
Bluegrass Admissions Applications
You may choose any of the following methods below for obtaining an application for admission to Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC).
ON-LINE (Opens in new window.) Note: If you would like to apply for a semester other than one listed above, you will need to download the application in .pdf format below and mail it in to the college.
This option will allow you to fill out and SUBMIT your application completely on-line! You may even start an application, leave, and come back within 30 days and complete it.
PDF Format (Opens in new window.)
This option has the BCTC application in a PDF format so that it can be filled out on-line, or it can be downloaded, printed and completed. You will need Acrobat ReaderŽ to use this option. It will then need to be mailed or hand delivered to the BCTC Office of Admissions, 470 Cooper Drive, 200 Oswald Building, Lexington, KY 40506-0235. If you are in another part of town or you are outside of Lexington, you are welcome to drop off your application at either the Danville, Georgetown, Lawrenceburg, Leestown or Winchester campuses.
PDF Format - International Application (Opens in new window.) International applicants will need to download this application to complete and submit to the Bluegrass Community and Technical College, Office of Admissions, 470 Cooper Drive, 200 Oswald Building, Lexington, KY USA 40506.
If you are interested in taking solely online courses through Ditance Learning or KYVC, you will need to complete one of the three applications listed below.

Important Reminders
- Application Term: If you complete this application for a particular term and do not enroll for that term, a new application must be submitted should you desire to be considered for admission to a later term.
- Required for Readmission: Students who leave Bluegrass Community and Technical College for a fall or spring semester must apply for readmission by submitting an application for admission by the priority deadline and official transcripts of any academic work attempted while not enrolled at BCTC. This policy also applies to students who enroll and withdraw prior to receiving a grade of W. Please visit the "readmit students" section on the left hand side of the screen for additional information.
