We are committed to providing you with the support necessary to make the most of these opportunities. For business and community partners, our training support and community services are second to none.

Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) is a part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). It was formed by the consolidation of Lexington Community College and Central Kentucky Technical College in 2005. This has given students many more choices for classes, courses, programs, and training for a better life ahead.

We are working hard to provide programs and services to meet emerging workforce needs. Our staff and faculty are dedicated to your education and the support you need to be successful. The career programs will continue to maintain state-of-the-art skills development. More than 80% of students graduating with a diploma or degree seek and achieve high-paying and stable jobs. The transfer program will continue to provide a bridge to baccalaureate degrees at four-year colleges and universities including the University of Kentucky (UK). We are still the institution that transfers the most students to UK. Our student services will support your academic progress. And while you are getting a good education, student activities will give you the chance to learn outside the classroom.

Please plan to visit any of our campuses and talk with admissions advisors, financial aid coordinators, other student development staff, or faculty to explore your program options and discover the many ways we can contribute to your educational success.
