ONLINE ASSESSMENT SETTINGS:Some students have reported difficulties accessing Blackboard tests and quizzes. To resolve this problem, complete the following steps to clear your browser cache and remove cookies and temporary Interent files:
- Click Tools in the upper toolbar and select Options.
- Click the Privacy Icon.
- Click Clear across from the Cache option.
- Click Ok.
- Or go to Tools.
- Clear Private Data Now.
- Make sure to check mark Cookies.
- Exit and re-launch the browser.
Also remove Java Cache
- Click on your Start button
- Click on Control Panel
- Click “Change to Classic View” on the left (if it says “Change to Category View, skip this step”)
- Click on the Java Icon
If you see a Delete Files button, continue and ignore steps 7-11, if you only see a “View Files” button, skip to the step 7. - Click the “Delete Files…” button
- Make sure that all items are checked, Skip to Step 12
- Select the “View Files…” button
- Click on the first file
- Scroll to the bottom
- Holding Shift, click on the final item (this should highlight all items on the list)
- Hit the Delete button on your Keyboard (this will delete your Java cache files)
- Click on “OK”
- Click on “OK”
