BLACKBOARD TRAINING INFORMATION

GETTING STARTED WITH QUALITY COURSE DEVELOPMENT  (Training Topics)

This link contains information on the training needed by all BCTC faculty before teaching online. Most training sessions last approximately 2 hours.

To sign up, please go to www.elearning.kctcs.edu. 
Log in with your KCTCS Username and Password. 
Click on the eCommunity tab at the top.
In the "Search Box" under Organization Search, type in "BCTC Distance."
Click "Enroll" at the far right and follow the directions.
*IF NO ONE SIGNS UP FOR A SESSION NO INSTRUCTOR WILL BE THERE - NO DROP-INS PLEASE.

BLACKBOARD HOURS

Blackboard Hours are specific times our Online Mentors can make themselves available for faculty to "walk-in" for assistance with specific "how do I" questions. These sessions do not meet the training needs necessary for Beginning Online Instructors.
