Merging Your Course
Merging in PeopleSoft (When courses are merged in PS, a new course is actually created. Students will still be able to enroll in the separate sections of your course, but only the new course will appear in Blackboard. Any content in the old sections should be exported to your computer before requesting a merge and then imported into the new course once it is created.)
- Send an email containing the following information:
TERM (ex. 4084 or fall 2008)
SESSION (ex. M03, sections must be offered in the same session to be merged)
4-5 DIGIT CLASS NUMBER (only 4 digits are used for summer classes)
SECTION (ex. 17Z1)
SUBJECT (ex. ENG)
CATALOG (ex. 101)
COURSE DESCRIPTION (ex. Writing I)
