What if I am taking a course on the web?
BCTC Bookstores stock web courses that originate at BCTC (class sections listed above) only.
Students can go to www.whywaitforbooks.com to get books for most all KCTCS web classes. Please follow this process:
1. Go to “www.whywaitforbooks.com”
2. Select “Kentucky” under “Select Your State”
3. Select “KCTCS - Kentucky Comm Tech College” under “Select Your School”
4. Select “Submit”
5. Select either “Bluegrass Cooper” or “Bluegrass CTC Leestown” under “Select Your Campus” (see below to determine which to select)
6. Select Term
7. Select Department
8. Select Course
9. Select Section
10. Select “Continue”
11. Purchase assigned texts, which will be shipped; students may use their SFA account.
I don't want to drive to Lexington, can I get my textbooks shipped to me?
Students can go to www.whywaitforbooks.com and place an order for their textbook.
The BCTC Bookstores will process and ship your order to your home address.

SFA orders will begin shipping on the first day of the SFA period, Wednesday, August 13th.
