LearnAnytime

LearnAnytime is a convenient and flexible option for attending college and pursuing a degree. LearnAnytime classes are delivered online via the Internet. Enrollment and learning may begin any day of the year. The classes are self-paced although learners must complete in 150 days from the start of course date. Currently, financial aid is not available to pay for LearnAnytime classes.

LearnAnytime classes contain the same content as traditional eLearning or classroom delivered classes with the same catalog number. LearnAnytime credits will be accepted at all Kentucky public colleges and universities. Please request in writing that an official KCTCS transcript be mail to the receiving postsecondary institution. However, students should verify acceptance with the institution they plan to attend because each institution of higher education determines which academic course it will accept as transfer credit.

Welcome to BCTC Online Learning!

Bluegrass Community and Technical College offers a variety of online learning opportunities available via the internet. Students enrolling in online classes have the freedom of working on their classes from anywhere they have an internet connection, the classes are available 24/7,

and there are several transfer degrees that allow students to complete their first 2 years online at BCTC and the last 2 years online for a bachelor's degree from area colleges and universities.

Professors may give students the freedom to work at their own pace; while others may provide a window of time to turn in homework and take quizzes or exams (this information will be provided in the syllabus). Some classes may also require students to take proctored exams, usually no more than two

(A proctored exam is where students must find someone to monitor them while they take the exam).

Proctors are provided by all 16 colleges within the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS)

and the guidelines for these exams can be found at www.kctcs.edu/distancelearning/testingcenters.htm.

BCTC also participates in the Kentucky Virtual University

Is Online Learning for You?

Set aside some time to fill out a short questionnaire. This questionnaire will help determine if online learning is a good option for your specific way of learning. After you complete the questionnaire, see the explanation of results section to determine what kind of learner you are.
