NR 255 Nursing V

Areas of study include the application of the nursing process as it relates to health promotion and care of child/adult clients experiencing interferences with the ability to meet selected basic human needs.  Emphasis is on the nurse as a provider of care.  Credit not available by special examination. 

Lecture:  5 hours

Laboratory:  12 hours

9 credit hours

Prerequisite:  Satisfactory completion of courses required by the first year nursing curriculum (C or better in each course)

Prior to or concurrent:  BSL 214

At least 2.0 cumulative GPA
