Want to Achieve Both For Very Little Money?

 

The SCIENCE EXCEL scholarship program at Bluegrass Community and Technical College can help you reach your goals. To qualify for the scholarships you must:

  • Be academically talented
  • Be qualified for financial aid
  • Be a high school graduate or a BCTC student
  • Be a US citizen, national, refugee, or legal permanent resident
  • Be a Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Environmental Science Tech major

The SCIENCE EXCEL scholarships will be awarded in early summer and will provide up to $6,000 per year depending on the student's financial aid needs. Students who are successful may renew their scholarship for a second year and have the opportunity to apply for a baccalaureate bridge scholarship to help them continue their education at a four-year college.

The SCIENCE EXCEL scholarship program is sponsored by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
