Faculty and Staff
Jean Watts, Associate Professor Jean received her M.E.M. - Masters of Environmental Management from Duke University in Resource Ecology. She also has a B.S. degree in Environmental Science and a B.A. in Science Education from the University of Kentucky. She serves on the State Small Business Stationary Source Compliance Advisory Panel, the Storm Water and Education committees of the Bluegrass Partnerships for a Green Community, and the Friends of Wolf Run. Jean also helps train volunteers and is the science advisor for the Kentucky Division of Water's Water Watch Program She teaches the following courses in the Environmental Science Technology Program:
Tracy Knowles, Associate Professor
Tracy also teaches in and is the Coordinator of the Chemistry area. She serves on the State Small Business Stationary Source Compliance Advisory Panel, the Greenspace Committee of the Bluegrass Partnerships for a Green Community, and the BCTC Sustainability Taskforce. She has travelled with faculty groups to China and Alaska (see photo album). Tracy teaches the following classes for the Environmental Science Technology Program:
Rae Ann Gill, Instructional Specialist
In addition to supporting the Chemistry and Environmental Science Technology programs as the instructional specialist, Rae Ann recently accepted the position as the Chemical Hygiene Officer for the Bluegrass Community and Technical College District.
