Although the degree title is "Electrical Technology," the more popular title is "Electrician."
Electrician Programs
If your desire is to become a professional electrician, this program is for you. We offer three degreed programs focused on three major areas in electrical wiring and construction. This program adds the National Electrical Code, rotating machines, and motor controls to the program core, and students take focused courses to complete each program. The three areas of specialization are: Industrial Electrician, Construction Electrician, and Motor Control Electrician.

Electrician Technology Program Curriculum:
AAS Degrees in Electrical (Electrician) Technology Checklist (pdf):
We offer an Associates of Applied Science Degrees in Electrician Technology in 3 specialized areas: Industrial, Construction, and Motor Controls.
Certificates in Electrical (Electrician) Technology Checklist (pdf):
It is possible to receive a number of certificates in this area if you do not want a degree, or are in the process of earning a degree.
Diplomas in Electrician (Electrician) Technology Checklist (pdf):
A Diploma in Electrical (Electrician) Technology is for professionals who want the technical classes, but are not interested in the general education courses.
How these degrees work: all students wishing to earn an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in the Electrical Technology Programs must complete the General Education classes (General Education Block), the Electrical Core classes (Electrical Core Block), and the classes in the Specialization of choice.
For example, A student wishing to earn an AAS in the Electrician Technology Program with a Specialization in Motor Control Technology would complete the following blocks of classes:
