The Mathematics and Statistics Division at Bluegrass Community and Technical
College offers a broad range of mathematics courses that meet the varied
needs of students who are pursuing their academic goals.
Course offerings range from basic arithmetic to college algebra, contemporary
mathematics, geometry, trigonometry, elementary calculus, calculus, finite
mathematics, mathematics for business, applied mathematics, and statistics.
Through such coursework, students acquire the ability to think logically and
abstractly, as well as develop the problem-solving and computational skills
necessary in all fields of study. Most of the courses within the mathematics
curriculum fulfill general education and transfer requirements.
