BCTC and Talon Winery Sponsor Kentucky Wine & Arts Festival

LEXINGTON, KY (June 11, 2008) – Looking for a fun activity this weekend? Join Bluegrass Community & Technical College and Talon Winery for two days of wine, food, art, music and more at the Kentucky Wine Arts Festival.

The festival will be held Saturday, June 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 15 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the grounds of Talon Winery located at 7086 Tates Creek Road in Lexington.

Free activities at the event will include artist vendor sales, musical performances, theatrical performances, short film viewings and children’s art activities. The festival will also offer wine tastings, wine, beer and food sales. A tentative musical schedule is as follows:

Saturday

2:00 Rainjunkies (Alternative Folk)
3:00 Wes Houp (Blues)
4:00 What Happened When (Acoustic Rock)
5:00 Argo Lynn (Folk Country)

Sunday

1:00 Alien Blue
2:00 Jazzmerized (Smooth Jazz)
3:00 For Stella (Rock and Roll)
