BCTC Announces New Scholarship Opportunities for Current Students
LEXINGTON, KY (March 21, 2008) – Bluegrass Community & Technical College (BCTC) students currently enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours, and in need of financial assistance, are eligible to apply four new scholarships.
New scholarships include:
- Brian Bergin Memorial Scholarship - in the amount of $750, is for students of Fayette or Jessamine counties who exhibit an attitude of drive and determination and have a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 2.8.
- Ferzacca Scholarship - in the amount of $2500, is for students who intend or have declared a major in fine arts or education fields and have preformed community service with a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 3.0.
- King Solomon Lodge #8 Educational Scholarship - in the amount of $500, is for Fayette county residents who have a G.P.A. of at least 2.5.
- Mary E. Coleman Book Scholarship - in the amount $250, is for Fayette county residents who have a G.P. A. of at least 2.5.
