BCTC to Host 4th Annual African-American Appreciation Breakfast

LEXINGTON, KY (February 21, 2008) – Timothy M. Southers, Midway College’s director of athletic recruiting and head basketball coach, will be the guest speaker at Bluegrass Community & Technical College’s (BCTC) 4th Annual African-American Appreciation Breakfast. 

The breakfast is held in conjunction with National Black History Month to recognize African-American citizens who have had a positive impact through role modeling or leadership.  The breakfast will be held Thursday, February 28, at 8:30 a.m. in room 106 at the BCTC Lawrenceburg Campus, 1500 By Pass North, Lawrenceburg.

Certificates of recognition will be presented to individuals nominated by the community. The breakfast is free and the public is invited to attend.
