BCTC Dental Hygiene Students to Provide Free Dental Care for Children

LEXINGTON, KY (January 28, 2008) – In recognition of National Dental Health Month, Bluegrass Community and Technical College’s dental hygiene students are celebrating “Pedo Week”  by providing free preventative dental care and education to children between the ages of 4-12 during the week of March 3-5, 2008.  The clinic will be held from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on the Cooper Campus. Free services will include a dental exam, x-rays, and cleaning.

Casey Justice and the Tooth FairyThe Tooth Fairy will be the featured guest on hand to talk with the children about good dental habits. 

Appointments must be made by calling 859-246-6857.  Space is limited.

The BCTC Dental Hygiene Clinic is open to the community by appointment, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. for discounted dental examinations and cleanings.
