Three New Scholarships Established for BCTC Students

LEXINGTON, KY (January 15, 2008) – Three new scholarships have been established at Bluegrass Community & Technical College (BCTC).

New scholarships include:

  • The BCTC Alumni Scholarship, in the amount of $500, is for students who demonstrate financial need and take a minimum of three credit hours. Scholarship provided by the BCTC Alumni Association.
  • Dr. Jim Kerley Scholarship is offered for first generation college students who demonstrate financial need.
  • The Lexington Moose Lodge #215 Governor’s Book Scholarship is offered for residents of Fayette County and bordering counties who have graduated from area high schools in 2007.

Applicants for the above scholarships must demonstrate need.
