“Access to Careers” Event Offered for Fayette County Students
LEXINGTON, KY (November 6, 2007) – Bluegrass Community & Technical College (BCTC) has partnered with The Rotary Club of Lexington (Sunrise) to offer an “Access to Careers” event for Fayette County high school students. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 on the BCTC Leestown Campus. Over 250 Fayette County high school juniors and seniors will participate in orientations and interactive tours of technical career programs.
“Access to Careers Week” is a partnership between Kentucky Rotary Clubs and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). To date, over 3,000 high school students have participated in the event.
