2007 MOSAIIC Conference Raises Awareness of Need to Engage & Embrace Differences

 Dr. William Parker leads MOSAIIC attendees in discussion.LEXINGTON, KY (June 14, 2007) – Rabbi Marc Aaron Kline greeted the opening session of the 2007 Multicultural Opportunities, Strategies and Institutional Inclusiveness Conference (MOSAIIC) with a challenge to attendees to return to their organizations and encourage people to engage and embrace different religious and ethnic cultures not just tolerate them. Dr. William Parker followed Rabbi Kline in engaging the group in a discussion of why social welfare and educational institutions are so far behind private industry in their efforts toward diversity.

The MOSAIIC Awards Dinner with featured keynote speaker Marilyn Loden, a leading authority on diversity in the workplace and author of “Implementing Diversity” will be held tonight

The Conference, which will include concurrent sessions, group discussions, and a MOSAIIC Awards presentation, will close on Friday.
