Place: BCTC, Academic Technical Building Lobby, 470 Cooper Drive, Lexington
LEXINGTON, KY (March 19, 2007) – The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Chapter #367 has teamed up with Bluegrass Community & Technical College to offer an interactive Ms. Fix It Day. The day is designed to give women and girls an opportunity for hands on training, advice from the experts, and demonstrations by professionals.
A few of the demonstrations and hands on activities will include “Basic Power Tool Use”, “Painting & Wallpaper Tips”, “How to Lay Tile”, and “Residential Landscaping”. The Lexington Police and Fire Departments will be on hand to discuss home security and fire prevention.
Tickets for the “Ms. Fix It Day” are on sale now for $10.00 each, children 12 and under are free.
