What: BCTC Hosts “Excellence Expo” for Area High School Students

Place: BCTC, Danville Campus, 59 Corporate Drive, Danville

LEXINGTON, KY (February 26, 2007) – Bluegrass Community & Technical College’s (BCTC) Danville Campus will host an “Excellence Expo” on Monday, March 5, 2007 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Area high school students will compete in technical skills contests in the areas of allied health, electricity, machine tool, and welding.

High schools and area technology centers invited to participate are Boyle County High, Casey County Area Technology Center, Lincoln County Area Technology Center, Harrodsburg Area Technology Center, Madison Area Technology Center, Marion Area Technology Center, Rockcastle Area Technology Center, and Garrard County Area Technology Center.

All contest winners will be awarded a BCTC scholarship for a three-hour class on the Danville Campus.
