BCTC & Lawrenceburg Rotary Partner to offer “Access to Careers Week”

LEXINGTON, KY (November 6, 2006) – Bluegrass Community & Technical College (BCTC) and the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club are collaborating to provide a day of career exploration as part of the statewide “Access to Careers Week”. Anderson County seniors will explore the many career and educational opportunities available on the Lawrenceburg Campus on Monday, November 20, 2006 from 8:00 -11:00 p.m.
Two-year associate degree programs available on the Lawrenceburg Campus include Business Management, Fire Science, Industrial Maintenance, Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education, Nurse Aide, Office Systems Technology, Medical Office Systems Technology, Registered Nurse, and Social Work Classes.
“Access to Careers Week” is the result of the Kentucky Rotary Clubs and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System to encourage students to explore the multiplicity of career opportunities available across the state.
