BCTC Alumni Association Host Afternoon at Keeneland for Annual Homecoming Event

LEXINGTON, KY (October 6, 2006) – A sunny afternoon featuring lunch, a silent auction and horse racing is on tap for the Bluegrass Community & Technical College (BCTC) Annual Alumni Association Homecoming Event. The event will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2006 at Keeneland Race Track, Lexington, and will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the BCTC tent in the picnic area. Silent auction items will be available for bidding and lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. followed by an afternoon of racing.

A fundraiser for the BCTC Alumni Association, the public is invited to participate. Tickets are $15 dollars for adults and $5 dollars for children 12 and under. All tickets must be purchased in advanced by October 17, 2006; no tickets will be sold after the deadline date. To purchase tickets, contact Andrea Ooten, at 859.246.6588 or andrea.ooten@kctcs.edu.

All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the BCTC Alumni Scholarship Fund.
