Women's History Month (March) is a time to honor the many contributions and achievements of women throughout the world. The BCTC Learning Resource Center is celebrating this important month with the following activities and materials:

  • Selected Materials Related to Women's History
    A list of some of our library items related to Women's History in general. Printouts of this bibliography are also available at the circulation desk.
  • Selected Materials By and About Famous Women
    A selected bibliography of library materials written by women or featuring famous women. Also available in hard copy at the circulation desk
  • Selected Materials By Kentucky Women Authors
    A selected bibliography of library materials written by Kentucky women authors. Also available in hard copy at the circulation desk
  • Selected Women's History Websites
    A compilation of quality Internet sites focusing on Women's History and women's issues.
  • Bookmarks
    We have created bookmarks featuring biographies of famous women, and will be distributing them throughout the month. If you would like to distribute the bookmarks as well, simply click on the link and print them out.
  • Quotable Women
    Memorable quotations by  well-known women, past and present.
  • Colleen Morrisey Art Exhibit - Learning Resources Center,  March 1-30th, 2008.  Artist's Reception, March 28, 3-4 P.M. at  BCTC LRC - Cooper Campus.  Free and open to the public.
  • Spring 2008 Film Series: Women Resisting  Gender and Women Studies Program, Film Series.  U. of Kenctucky. Free and open to the public.
