Interlibrary Loan

The Interlibrary Loan Service is for our faculty, staff, and students only.

Allow at least two (2) weeks for delivery. You will be notified by email when the item is available. Loan periods vary depending on lending institution. Overdue fines are $1.00 per day.

Materials five (5) days overdue are declared LOST, and patrons are declared delinquent for the replacement cost of the materials.

If the item is available at the Learning Resource Center or electronically in full-text, you may not use the interlibrary loan service. Interlibrary loan requests made by students in lieu of purchasing required course materials will not be processed.

Request for Book or Audiovisual
Before submitting an interlibrary loan request for a book or audiovisual, first check our library catalog, the KCTCS Library Catalog, for holdings information. 


Request for Journal or Magazine Article
Before submitting an interlibrary loan request for a journal or magazine article, you must first search our databases to see if we already have the journal available in full-text. Also check the KCTCS Library Catalog for journal title holdings information.
