Celebrate Independence Day!

Independence Day (July 4) is a time to to celebrate!  On Independence Day, Americans honor  the birthday of the United States of America and the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.  At the library, we wanted to do a few things to acknowledge this important day in our country's history.

  • Books about American History and the American Revolution will be on display at the library.
  • We have developed  a selected bibliography of materials owned by our library. The bibliography is printable for use from this site and is also available in hard copy at the circulation desk.
  • Please also see our list of recommended United States Independence Day Links for web resources related to the holiday.
  • Please share this information with your classes, and if there is anything else that we can do let us know!
