Electronic Course Reserves
E-RESERVES - Information for FacultyFaculty may place materials on e-reserve. If you want to put items on e-reserve, please read the information below and then contact Maureen Cropper for a consultation. Examples of items that may be possible to put on e-reserve include syllabi, instructor-created study guides or lecture notes, a chapter of a book, or scanned or linked articles. Any needed copyright clearance for published materials is the responsibility of the instructor, other than those uses covered by fair use. Class coursepacks, and complete books or workbooks, are not suitable for e-reserves. After contacting Maureen Cropper (the electronic resources librarian), please print the E-Reserves Request Form, fill it out, and bring it to the library, along with the materials you want to place on e-reserve. If you have files in electronic format already, such as class notes, you may e-mail them directly to the electronic resources librarian as an attachment, along with a copy of the e-reserves form. Processing time for e-reserves may vary, depending on the number of requests received and the nature of the request. It is advisable to consult with the electronic resources librarian before submitting a request to determine the estimated length of processing time. E-RESERVES: Information for StudentsThe following courses have materials available online. Your instructor will provide you with a username and password. STUDENTS: Please note that e-reserves usernames/passwords are CASE-SENSITIVE. For example, if your username is Eng101Smith, typing in enG101smitH will not work; you must type it in exactly as Eng101Smith. As another example, if your password is climate865, you cannot use CLIMATE865 or ClimaTe865 as your password; it must be typed in exactly as climate865. Please read the copyright information below before retrieving your course articles.
