Welcome to Facility Planning and Energy Management

The Mission of the office of Facility Planning and Energy Management is to deliver highly reliable electricity, chilled water, steam, and utilities at the lowest cost to the campus.
The Office of Facility Planning and Energy Management provides the overall energy management function at The College.  The office identifies and implements energy conservation measures and projects; provides the administration of the utilities consisting of the steam and chiller plants, electric distribution infrastructure;  HVAC/Energy Management System.
The Office of Facility Planning and Energy Management:
• responsible for Administration of the BCTC energy conservation plan
• manages the campus fuel and utility budget, the departmental operating budgets, and the project budgets
• procures electric and fuel to support the campus, for power generation and steam production
• directs independent engineering, both design and development, and construction projects for the college, and participates in new building construction
• develops and advances the College's Energy Master Plan
