Workforce Transitions

Workforce Transitions is a new KCTCS initiative designed to award college credit for job skills, training received on the job through BCTC or other certifying agencies including both state and federal training programs. Learn more

To begin or complete your academic and or career journey:

• Complete the Workforce Transitions Program Application and
• Return the application to John T. Ferguson, Workforce Transitions Coordinator.
  • In addition to the admissions application, you will need to submit an official copy of your High School diploma or GED scores to the coordinator or to the records Office at 470 Cooper Dr. Lexington, KY 40506-0235.

Upon completion of the application and admissions process, you will be able to register for your classes.

Before officially entering a class, you may be asked to submit ACT scores (no older than 5 years) in order to determine course placement. For additional information regarding placement exams, click here.

In regard to educational expenses, you may choose to consider completing the Free Application For Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine your eligibility to receive federal, state and institutional aid and or scholarships. An online FAFSA application is available for your convenience at fafsa.ed.gov. To find out more about financial assistance, we strongly encourage you to search the BCTC Financial Aid website website.
