Upward Bound

Upward Bound (UB) is a federal TRiO program sponsored by Bluegrass Community and Technical College and is funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The mission of UB is to motivate and assist eligible students in preparation for postsecondary educational opportunities. UB provides tutorial and guidance services to more than 60 students from Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Harrison, and Jessamine counties.

Each grading period, Upward Bound student's grade point averages are averaged together. The school with the highest grade point average will be awarded with the UB Shining Star trophy for the month. UB keep working hard to have the Shining Star trophy delivered to your school for all to see.
