  • A free conference open to all KCTCS full-time & adjunct faculty and staff.
  • Opening reception February 22, 2013.
  • Light breakfast and lunch provided on February 23rd.

Registration (All participants must fill out the registration form)

Workshops Presentations on the 22nd & 23rd are open to choice. You must register for meals.

Kris Kimel is President and a founder of the Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation (KSTC), an independent non-profit company with an international reputation for designing and implementing a range of innovative initiatives. Over the 25 year life of KSTC dozens of projects have been funded by diverse supporters involving corporations, private foundations, state and federal governments.

Kimel is also the founder and leader behind the vision and implementation of Kentucky Space LLC, a new nonprofit enterprise focused on entrepreneurial space solutions and chairman of the Exomedicine Institute, an affiliate of Kentucky Space…which involves the research, development and application of medical solutions in the microgravity environment of space often utilizing the International Space Station.

He is the founder of the international IdeaFestival® (IF)…a world-class event that attracts leading and diverse thinkers, entrepreneurs, artists, etc. from across the US and around the globe to explore and celebrate innovation, imagination and game-changing ideas.

Innovation Award

The third annual Changing Classroom Cultures Innovation Award for BCTC Adjunct Faculty will be presented during lunch. The awardee will receive $300.
