Bluegrass Community and Technical College's Office of Multiculturalism and Inclusion is excited to announce the 2012 MOSAIIC Conference. This annual event promises to be the preeminent diversity conversation of the year.
This year’s theme: "Doomed to Succeed; The Impetis of the Underdog" will focus on the characteristics used to define the concept of the underdog. We will identify and compare their humble origins, lack of resources, and determined struggle against the odds. We will identify two essential dimensions of an underdog biography: external disadvantage, and passion and determination. We will be able to demonstrate across cultures, contexts, and time periods, underdogs have inspired people.
How we will continue to inspire and motivate the future generations of underdogs is our charge.
