IT Service Requests

BCTC faculty and staff may request IT Support through submission of a Work Order. To submit a work order, visit ITES at https://ites.bluegrass.kctcs.edu and select “IT Services - Assistance Request” or call the IT Help Desk at (859) 246-4600.

Employee New Hires / Separations / Transfers

New employees, separating employees, and employees who may be undergoing an internal transfer must use the standard ITS form for creation and/or elimination of computer related services. Some services requested may take several days to complete. To expedite the process, the campus ITS department must receive the information in a timely manner.

New Employee Hires

When a new BCTC employee is hired, a new employee form must be completed. To submit a New Employee Technology Request, visit ITES at https://ites.bluegrass.kctcs.edu and select “New Employee Technology Request” or call the IT Help Desk at (859) 246-4600. To ensure timely access is provided to the required services, the New Employee information form must be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to the anticipated hire date.

Separations

Upon separation of employment, an ITS Separation form must be completed by the supervising official and submitted to the BCTC Human Resources department at the time of separation. The ITS Employee Separation form should be submitted to the campus ITS area a minimum of two weeks prior to the anticipated separation date to ensure services are revoked in a timely manner. Transfers and Relocations

A BCTC Transfer and Relocation form must be completed by the supervising official and submitted to the BCTC Human Resources department a minimum of two weeks prior to the anticipated transfer date.
