Important Notice
The process for applying is a “Complete Application Packet” format. Students must submit all documents below in one envelope to be considered for the program. Even if you have applied before and/or are currently enrolled, we will need all documents resubmitted to the Office of Admissions, room 200 Oswald Building, Cooper Campus by February 15, 2013 for the Fall 2013 class in order to be considered for admission. Advanced standing applicant deadlines can be found in the advanced standing section below. Only complete packets will be processed and considered for the program.
Gather all of the documents required below for consideration to the Associate Degree Nursing (to become an RN) program and place them in one envelope:
Reminder: Incomplete packets will not be accepted. Please turn in your packet to the Office of Admissions, Cooper Campus, by February 15, 2012. Please allow 10 business days to process your application to the Associate Degree Nursing (to become an RN) program. You will receive an automated e-mail informing you when your packet has been processed. To check on the status of your application you will need to login to your Selective Admissions System account. Students must meet one of the follow criteria to apply as an advanced standing applicant: 1) be an LPN that has practiced at least one full year within the past three years and holds a current unrestricted license for practical nursing, 2) be a currently enrolled practical nursing student within KCTCS, 3) or have taken Nursing clinical courses within the past three years at BCTC or another academically accredited institution. Please note enrollment as an advanced standing student may be limited due to the availability of facilities, faculty, and/or resources. Each applicant must submit the following credentials to the Bluegrass Community and Technical College Office of Admissions by the posted deadline in order to be considered for advanced standing admission:
