Guidance Counselors

Greetings from Bluegrass Community and Technical College!

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in ensuring student success. We understand that the process of guiding students through their college search can be overwhelming. We hope that the information below will help you simplify the process for students and get them excited about the road ahead.

We encourage you and your students to visit our website for information regarding admissions, financial aid, programs of study, as well as transfer partnerships. The site has a wealth of information about our college as well as an online application for admission. Please be sure to review our Admissions Guidelines for important information on required documentation and application deadlines. If you would like printed materials for you and your students, please contact our office and we would be happy to mail or deliver materials.

Bluegrass has moved to electronic student files. We would appreciate your assistance with this transition by submitting requested transcripts electronically. This can be done through Parchment or via email to our office email account. As always, we are still accepting transcripts via direct mail. All students are required to submit a high school transcript with posted graduation date and test scores.

If your students are interested in dual credit or dual enrollment courses, please visit our Opportunity College for additional information. Should you or your students wish to visit one of our campuses, we would love to schedule a tour. A campus visit is the perfect opportunity to explore our facilities, meet our students, and see what Bluegrass has to offer. To schedule a visit, please contact our office for availability.

Annual High School Counselor Luncheon

Each year, we look forward to the opportunity to celebrate the work you do for your students. It is also an opportunity to come together and reflect on our shared partnership in helping students achieve their goals. For the 2013-2014 academic year, the theme for the counselor luncheon was "U R Mint to Be" and focused on your role as a mentor, inspirational leader, and confidant. We encourage you to visit the link below to see what fun we had together!
