A Presidential Student Ambassador is a trained and successful student who wants to help prospective and new students learn the ropes to make the most out of their college experience at BCTC. Student Ambassadors will serve in various positions on the Cooper Campus and will gain valuable leadership experience which looks great on a resume!
The Presidential Student Ambassador Packet will be available to all students who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher at BCTC. BCTC applicants must have completed at least 12 credit hours, be a full-time student, and be in good standing in the community and institution.
BCTC Student Ambassadors will assist with various aspects of new orientation, campus tours, registration, staff the Welcome Center, and develop strong leadership skills through extensive training. The following responsibilities apply to all Student Ambassadors:
BCTC Presidential Student Ambassadors will be selected based on evaluation of their application, essay, interview and reference forms. The Presidential Student Ambassador program is a highly selective and important position at Bluegrass Community and Technical College. We pride ourselves on selecting only the best candidates to represent the College and student body. We look forward to receiving your application packet!
