Proctored exams require students to take an examination in a controlled location under the supervision of a proctor, who monitors students during the exam period. A proctored exam permits instructors to limit student access to certain materials such as books, notes, and the Internet and to verify the identity of the individual taking the exam. BCTC's Distance Learning Testing Center is located on the Leestown Campus in Room A-136. Students use AppointmentPlus, an online scheduling service, to register to take an exam. Exams are regularly scheduled at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. Additional time slots are available during the weeks of midterm and finals. Consult the schedule below for exact times and places.
The BCTC Distance Learning Testing Center is available to all Kentucky Community and Technical College students. Students from other institutions use the Workforce Assessment Testing Center.
