Faculty Council ad hoc Committee on Policies, Procedures and Communications

Purpose of the Committee

Faculty members who have an issue which as not been satisfactorily addressed through regular channels can bring that concern to this committee.  Individual problems will be addressed in a confidential manner, but the committee will make recommendations on college policies and procedures to the President and to Faculty Council.

Official Charge:

Charged by the BCTC Faculty Council December 2, 2005 to perform the following functions:

This committee shall serve in an advisory capacity concerning:

  • Issues and concerns brought to its attention by individual faculty members.
  • Recommended changes in administrative policies and procedures proposed by one or more faculty members who feel that such recommended changes have not been satisfactorily addressed through regular administrative channels.

A written recommendation will be made to the President on issues and concerns from individual faculty member(s) and a copy of this recommendation will be sent to the Faculty Council Chair and the faculty member(s) who brought the issue or concern to the attention of the committee.
