Scramble Host: WVLK's Larry Glover - 2008 Sportscaster of the Year
Larry Glover is host of SportsCentral on WVLK-AM in Lexington, a post he has held since January of 2008. He was honored for his work by being named the 2008 Kentucky Sportscaster of the Year. Larry’s radio career began with a short stint in 1994 at SportsRadio 1300 WLXG. Larry moved to WVLK in 1995 and joined the UK Radio Network in 1996. He realized a dream of broadcasting professional baseball when he was hired to be the original Play-by-play broadcaster for the Lexington Legends in the fall of 2000. He left the Legends in 2007 to take his current position with WVLK. He also is the host of Sunday SportsCentral, a position he has held since 1998.
