Exams for Special Credit Sign-Up Form
Exams will take place on Friday, April 25th at 2PM in MB 248 on the Cooper Campus.
Students interested in taking the exams must meet the following criteria and follow the prescribed steps below in order to qualify to take an exam.
- Students must register for exam by filling out the form below by Monday, April 21st, 5 p.m.
- Students may sign up for only one exam.
- Sign up is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the slots are filled up, no more sign ups will be allowed.
- A student may take each exam only ONCE during his/her academic career at BCTC and cannot previously have taken the same exam.
- A score of 75% or better on the exam lets the student bypass the course (successful exams result in student receiving three hours credit and "opting out" of taking that specific course to complete the IMD degree).
- Students that sign up and do not show up for the exam without 24-hours notice or whom fail to provide a valid excuse, will NOT be allowed to sign up for the same exam in later semesters. If you SIGN up, SHOW up. We are planning on you being there.
- Exams begin promptly at 2pm. Students arriving late will not be admitted into the exams.
- Photo ID is required to be admitted to the exams.
- For the IMD 235 exam, you must purchase a myitlab software license to take the exam or already have a myitlab account from another class such as IMD 210. The cost of the myitlab license is $30. The money for the license should be brought to the exam time. Only checks and cash will be accepted. Make any checks for this license to IAAP. If you already have a myitlab account, you don't need to buy another one, but you will need to make sure you know your myitlab login ID and password when you come to the exam.
- These are serious exams, meant to reward individuals whom are already proficient in these applications and technologies. Tests have been rewritten to be extremely challenging. Sign up for an exam if you consider yourself an expert and have used these programs on a daily basis.

- Fill out and submit the form for the exam you are electing to take.
- The price to take each exam is $40. You must visit the business office to pay this before you take the exam. Please bring the receipt to the exam.
For the IMD 100 exam: The student will need to purchase a mini essay scantron from the bookstore. The exam will consist of a combination of written material and application driven work.
