Registration
- Registration is held on Mondays from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Assessment Center (Room N-110) on the Leestown Campus of Bluegrass Community and Technical College. In the event the college is closed on a Monday for a holiday or inclement weather, registration will be cancelled. Weather related closures will be announced on local television and radio stations.
- Candidates should have an account set up in GED123 and will need to bring in all paperwork, including the Testing Application with practice test scores and signed by the adult education provider, the print-out from GED123, and an official letter of withdrawal if less than 19 years old. Candidates must also bring in a valid photo i.d. and $40 exact cash for first time testers or $10 per subject for retesters.
- Acceptable identification includes driver’s licenses, passports, military papers, or other forms of government (national or foreign) identification that shows name, address, date of birth, signature, and a photograph. School ids are NOT accepted.
- Test session dates are limited to twenty (20) students and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Test fee must be paid during registration (payable by EXACT cash, money order, or voucher). Fees are as follows:
- First time examinees: $40
- Retests: $10 per subject

- Bluegrass Community and Technical College is located at 164 Opportunity Way, which is off Leestown Road behind Leestown Middle School. This is exit 7 off of New Circle Road. Turn left at the first light north of New Circle and follow the signs to campus. Turn left at the first light north of New Circle and follow the signs to campus. - Parking is available in areas marked “Student/Visitor Parking.” Handicapped parking is also available.
- After parking, please come through the front doors of Building C (the round building). After entering the building, follow the green arrows at the top of the left wall. These arrows will lead directly to the Assessment Center (Room N-110).
