- Who is eligible?
You are, with or without a degree or diploma. Formal admission to BCTC is not necessary in order to participate. The only requirement for most non-credit courses is a desire to learn. Courses are open to all persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex, marital status, beliefs, age, national origin, or physical or mental disability.
- What are the program fees?
Fees for non-credit courses vary per offering. Please check the course schedule and descriptions for cost as well as materials required, if applicable. Payment is required at the time of registration.
- When and how do I pay?
Payment is due at the time of registration. You may pay by cash, check, or credit card (VI, MC, DS). Enrollment is limited in some courses. We urge you to register early. Fees must be paid in advance to guarantee your placement in the class. Courses not meeting the minimum enrollment required will be canceled at least three (3) working days in advance.
- How do I register?
With a credit card, you may register by phone at (859) 246-6666 or by Fax at (869) 246-6664. Make checks payable to BCTC and mail to Corporate and Community Development, 164 Opportunity Way, Ste. N-121, Lexington, KY 40511.
- Can I get a refund?
You may receive a full refund if you cancel at least three (3) working days prior to the course’s start date. Full refunds are issued for all courses canceled by BCTC. Credit card refunds take 24 hours. Cash and check refunds normally take 4 to 6 weeks to process.
- Will I need extra materials and supplies?
Materials and supplies may be required for courses and may involve a separate fee. Books are included in the cost for most courses, but may sometimes be a separate participant cost.
- Will I receive a confirmation?
You will receive confirmation of your registration with date, time and location of your class. If a course is full or canceled, or if there is any change in time or location, you will be notified by phone or mail.
- Where are you located?
The office of Corporate and Community Development is now located at 164 Opportunity Way (off Leestown Rd.), Building N, Suite 121, Lexington, KY 40511.
