Event Location- The festival will be held at Talon Winery and Vineyards (7086 Tates Creek Rd.) at the historic Fair View Farm in Lexington, KY. The winery sits on 300 areas of rolling farmland. www.talonwine.com

Event Dates and Hours-

Set up- Saturday, June 14th 7:30 am

Festival hours:

Saturday, June 14th 11:00-7:00pm and

Sunday, June 15- 12:00- 5:00 pm

No security will be provided overnight

Booth Information- Standard booths are configured for 11 feet by 11 feet to accommodate a standard 10 X 10 tent. All artists must provide a tent. Multiple spaces may be purchased. Only one artist/business is allowed per booth. The artist is responsible for providing all display structures, chairs, tables, tents, etc. NO electricity will be provided to tents. Booths will be sitting on grass. Some shade may be provided, but some booths may be in direct sun. Sorry, we cannot take requests for booth locations. Free parking is provided. On site- concession and restrooms will be available. Free coffee will be provided on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Fees- Booth rental is a $40.00 non-refundable fee for both days. Booth rental fee is due with your application. Please make checks payable to Talon Winery and Vineyards.

Application Schedule-  Applications must be received by May 24^th, 2008 to participate. Please send application, check, and photograph demonstrating your work to:

Application Eligibility-  Applications must be accompanied by a photograph of your work that you intend to display at the Festival of the Arts. Submitted images must accurately represent what you sell. A committee will assign booth locations based on a diverse mixture of art works. Booth rental fee is due with the application and is nonrefundable.

Notification- All notification will take place by Friday, May 30, 2008. Notifications will take place by email or telephone.

Kentucky Sales Tax and Liability: Each exhibitor is responsible for collecting and reporting Kentucky State sales tax (6% of all sales). To obtain KY sales tax forms, contact Mary Jo Riddel at the KY. Dept. of Revenue at 502-564-9493.
