Clinic and Staff

The Dental Hygiene Clinic located on the Cooper campus of the Bluegrass Community and Technical College  operates with 16 individual dental operatories and two separate radiography rooms. A pleasant waiting room divides the clinic into two halves. Each side contains 8 operatories, a large radiographic viewbox, individual operatory viewboxes, a center faculty island, a darkroom, sterilization room and student mailboxes. 

 Melissa Kemp, RDH, the Clinic Coordinator in the Dental Hygiene Program.   I graduated from the LCC Dental Hygiene Program in 1987, and have worked in private practice for 15 years before coming back to BCTC as the Clinic Coordinator.  I schedule the patients and help to manage the clinic during the school year.  As a former student in this program, I can confidently recommend all our clinic services.

Hello, I'm Della White, the Division Assistant in the Dental Hygiene Program. My responsibilities as Division Assistant are many and very essential to the Dental Hygiene Program. I have worked in the same area 28 years and enjoy working with the many students that enter and graduate from the program.

I would like to invite you to consider an appointment in our clinic.  A variety of Dental Hygiene procedures are offered at a significant discount, including tooth whitening procedures! We will be happy to process and file your insurance - be sure and bring a copy of your insurance card.  We also accept the Medicare card, personal checks and, of course, cash! - Della
