The Dental Hygiene Clinic located on the Cooper campus of the Bluegrass Community and Technical College opened in 1977. The Dental Hygiene Program has produced approximately 500 graduates who care for the oral health needs of the public. Although most have remained in the Commonwealth, some have gone on to practice settings in other states as well as Europe. The faculty is extremely proud of the achievements of graduates, including high rates of licensure ("Board") examination success and post graduation employment.
