This College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges. It began its regular accreditation process in 2004 and recieved full accreditation 2007.
This Program is accredited by the American Dental Association. The program has been fully accredited since 2002. It completed its most recent renewal and site visit in December of 2007. It currently is accredited with reporting requirements.
Student graduates take the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) which allows them to become certified dental assistants (CDA's). DANB certified assistants continue to earn salaries higher than non certified assistants: (article)
