Course Reserves

Faculty may place assigned reading on print reserve at the Cooper Campus LRC / Library or at the Newtown Learning Commons circulation desks.  Please allow at least one week for processing of print reserves.

Cooper Campus

If you would like to place items on reserve at the Cooper location, please please contact Jenni Link, public services librarian, at (859) 246-6528. Please print the Printable Faculty Reserve Request Form, fill it out, and bring it to the Cooper library circulation desk, along with the materials you want to place on reserve. If you would like to take an item off reserve, please contact Jenni Link, public services librarian, at (859) 246-6528.

Newtown Campus

If you would like to place items on reserve at the Newtown location, please contact Terry Buckner, public services librarian, at (859) 246-6397. Please print the Printable Faculty Reserve Request Form, fill it out, and bring it to the Newtown Learning Commons circulation desk, along with the materials you want to place on reserve.  If you would like to take an item off reserve, please contact Terry Buckner, public services librarian, at (859) 246-6397.

Students: To check out  a reserve item, ask at the circulation desk at Cooper campus or Newtown campus, depending on where the reserve item is being held. You need to know the course name and number, instructor's name, and title of the reserve item. The reserve loan period is two hours or one day, depending on the item.

You may not take two hour reserve items out of the library. You must have a validated student ID card to check out reserve materials. 

Search Course Reserves - Select "Course Reserves" tab. Bluegrass Community and Technical College course titles will begin with "BLCTC.")
