The Cooperative Education element is an
educational strategy that integrates classroom theory with supervised,
paid, real-world work experience. This is directly related to the
student's major and area of concentration. The students gain
experience, a salary, academic credit, and an excellent entry on
their resume.
The Internship program is also an educational strategy in which a student's classroom study is formally integrated with planned/evaluated/ real-world work experience related to student's interests. Internship is open to all students in Communications/Community Service/Counseling/ Education/Law/ Marketing/Public Relations or those who have special Requests or who want to explore alternative career paths. Transfer, non-degree, and pre-baccalaureate students are also eligible for Internships. A strong effort is underway to make these programs even more available to all LCC students. |
