Request for BCTC Nursing Information

Thank you for your interest in Bluegrass Community and Technical College
Associate Degree Nursing
Program! We would like to assist you in learning more about our program.
Here's how:
Each applicant must submit the following credentials to the Bluegrass Community and Technical College Office of Admissions by February 15, 2006 in order to be
considered:
- Students who are currently enrolled in classes at BCTC must fill out a
Letter of Intent, which will be sent to the currently enrolled student in
October. Students who are not currently enrolled in classes at BCTC must
fill out an application for admission, available in room 200 Oswald
Building.
- An official high school transcript or official passing GED scores.
Transcripts must show a date of graduation. This is also required of
students with previous college work.
- Official scores of the American College Test (ACT), the Scholastic
Assessment Test (SAT) or the National League for Nursing (NLN)
Pre-Admission Test. This is also required of students with previous
college work
- Official transcripts of all post-secondary education. Transcripts must
be submitted from EACH college or university previously attended,
including transcripts from the University of Kentucky and the Kentucky
Community and Technical College System. Transcripts must show every period
of enrollment.
- In order to be considered for admission to the Nursing Program, each
applicant must attend a mandatory pre-admission conference. You may attend
the conference of your choice and you must remain for the entire session.
